At the Achievement Center, we see children with physical disabilities, developmental delays, emotional and behavioral problems, and autism spectrum disorders. They provide therapeutic services to more than 3,400 children annually in a service area that spans four counties including Erie, Crawford, Forest, and Warren, PA.

Acute Partial Hospitalization Program for Children | Barber National Institute

This intensive three-week therapeutic program is designed for children and teens ages 4-18 with a qualifying mental health diagnosis, including those with a co-occurring Autism Spectrum diagnosis or intellectual disability.   Services are provided in a modern, spacious facility conveniently located at 4176 West Ridge Road in Erie, PA, 16506. The program has been developed to prevent out-of-home placement, reduce recurring crises and keep children in the least restrictive environment while making progress toward recovery.

Acute Partial Hospitalization Services | Sarah A. Reed

The Acute Partial Hospitalization Program provides intense, short-term (up to three weeks) assessment and treatment for children between 5 and 14 years of age with severe emotional and behavioral problems. Program staff provides services in a highly structured, Sanctuary-based, safe environment and partner with parents and other professionals in order to stabilize behavior and design the most appropriate treatment plan for the child’s future. The program specifically addresses the integration and coordination of educational services while delivering the short-term treatment.

The Acute Partial Hospitalization Program is located at our Hamilton Campus at 2931 Harvard Road Erie, PA 16508. The program’s hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM. The program runs year round.

Blended Spirits Ranch

Blended Spirits Ranch (BSR) is a local non-profit 501c(3) organization providing care to children and adults within northwestern Pennsylvania. BSR mission is to provide a safe and structured environment for using Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) to help individuals feel empowered, build self-esteem, fight depression, and treat the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Health professionals have found that Equine Assisted Activities provide substantial benefits to individuals and assist in the healing process.

KaleidAScope, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit focusing on supporting individuals with ASD without an intellectual disability and their families. KAS offers individual, family and group therapy with licensed clinicians for school age children through adulthood. Social skill groups, ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) administration and community supports are available. KAS is a provider for the Pa.
